|Solexia™ (formerly Solex®) Glass has long been a favorite of architects desiring
spectrally selective high-performance tinted glass. Since 1952, when the Solexia™-glazed
Lever House launched the era of the glass-clad building, Solexia™ has been helping
owners and architects achieve beauty and performance in their buildings.
Solexia™ glass is a light green tinted glass that has provided aesthetic and performance
solutions for builders and architects around the world for decades.
The light green color of Solexia™ glass subdues interior brightness while still providing the
highest visible light transmittance (69% for a one inch insulating unit) of any tinted glass
available. Combined with a Shading Coefficient of 0.56, the resultant Light to Solar Gain
Ratio (LSG) is 1.41.
Note: This product meets the new energy efficiency guidelines set forth by the Federal
Energy Management Program (FEMP) for spectrally selective glazing products.
